This Privacy Policy explains how Taste Travel Guide LLC ("Taste Travel Guide", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit tastetravelguide.com (the "Site"). We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws, including the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).
By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.
The data controller is Taste Travel Guide LLC, 1 Gateway Center, Suite 2600, Newark, NJ 07102, USA. For any privacy matter you can contact us at privacy@tastetravelguide.com.
Where GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent (e.g. newsletter, non-essential cookies); our legitimate interests (e.g. operating the search, site security and analytics) balanced against your rights; and legal obligation where required by law.
We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. This includes cookies that measure when a visitor is referred to a travel partner through our flight search, so that any commission is correctly attributed. You can manage your preferences through the cookie banner and your browser settings.
Our flight comparison search is powered by a third-party travel-technology partner. When you run a search or click through to book, certain information (such as your search parameters and a referral identifier) is shared with that partner and, ultimately, with the airline or online travel agency you choose, so that your search can be fulfilled and any referral fee attributed. Those companies process your data under their own privacy policies. We never receive or store your payment-card details — payment happens entirely on the airline's or agency's own secure platform. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more on this relationship.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for cross-border transfers.
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised. If you unsubscribe from the newsletter, we remove your address from our active list.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data; to object to or restrict processing; and to withdraw consent. California residents may request disclosure of the categories of personal information collected and ask us not to "sell" or "share" it (we do not sell personal information). To exercise any right, email privacy@tastetravelguide.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS encryption, to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version, and material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
